Xue Wu and Si Ye are so good together I almost wish they could have a little more time to get to know each other more. But alas, it’s time to move from one crisis to another. But on the upside, HE’S HERE. And by “he” I mean the second lead. While he has no dialogue, boy does he make a splash. Dear Elizaphantrex, thanks in advance.
This, by normal asian drama standards, should happen maybe in 20 episodes. This is why I love this show. This is only the third episode and there are no misunderstandings between the two main characters. Also, Elizaphantrex, thank you for editing…and stop texting me at 6 AM to remind me to update Lu Zhen (I’ll get to it I swear) . Just because you now live on the east coast, think of the time difference for my sanity.
I think what I love, nay, adore about this drama is that it’s a no holds barred, quick to the point drama that doesn’t make me want to strangle the emotionally stunted leads. I love that it’s not going to make me wait. Also – thank you my dear editor, elizaphantrex in advance.
Another good episode. I love how cute the main characters are. But I also am pretty much engrossed in the story. This show has me suitably impressed by how well the whole thing is turning out to be.
You know how good a show is going to be sometimes by the music in it. This show has a song that reminds of BBJX Snow Plum, or 3 inches of heaven which made me sigh every time I heard it. So, get your tissues ready, because this drama is going to mangle, break, and smash your heart. But like BBJX, it was the kind of heartbreak that was worth the pain. I don’t ever regret watching BBJX because I got to see a love story that transcended time. So I know that I will not regret watching this drama, because getting to know what happens is worth the tears (and the boxes of tissues).
I hate the opening song of the drama with all my heart, but this song is so sweetly sad and filled with so much meaning that it encapsulates the story of the two leads.
WOW. This show is good. Legends, war, half naked men bathing in sulfur springs, girl inventors chasing chickens and that was just the first episode. (spoiler: fake marriages and kisses are to be looked forward to if I keep recapping, and I’ve only seen up to episode 6) I can’t believe how good Lan Ling Wang turned out to be, especially because I didn’t think Feng Shao Feng would be a good titular character player but, I have to admit, I’m liking this show already. For those who don’t know. Lan Ling Wang, Prince of the Kingdom of Qi is a legendary and heartrending beautiful/powerful warrior. In this story, he and his enemy, the King of Zhou fall in love with the same girl whose destiny is to bring power and unite the kingdoms who whoever posses her.
