This drama is good and bad at the same time, but best of all, it contains Zhang Tong. A man-boy who is not only a great actor, but is easy on the eyes. And while I do have a lot of asian actor crushes, this one is actually good at acting.

Schemes of Beauty Ep.1

This is the reason why I fell of the wagon and descended into the hazy netherworld of Chinese drama. First of all I’ve watched Ruby Lin since Romance in the Rain, and my goodness, Samuel Chan is one of the hottest asian men I’ve seen in a long time. That aside, this is a historical drama and I do love me some of the gorgeous costume designs the drama manages to get in. Okay without further ado, let’s get on with the show.

Chinese Drama Recaps


I can’t read Korean, and my minimal knowledge of Japanese will not only give grave offense to any Japanese persons who are near my vicinity, but may also start another conflict between China and Japan. Believe me, I am terrible at both languages. Which is why I have decided to recap Chinese Dramas, because I speak Chinese.
